Welcome
Here it is November already. Where has the time gone? Seems like only yesterday that we were getting out the golf clubs, getting the lawn mower tuned up and now it's time to put them away and get the snow-blower ready.
Don't forget the costume party on November 2, in the Post hall. Prizes will be awarded for the Best, Funniest and Most Original costumes. Only members are eligible for prizes. Come out and have some fun!
November 5th is election day, so get to the poles and Vote! It's your duty.
If you know of a comrade who is sick or in the hospital or nursing home, please notify the Chaplain so he can pay them a visit.
And it would be nice if more comrades would come to the Post Meetings. Only 35 to 45 members usually show up out of 1400 that are eligible. Come to a meeting and see how the Post is run.

HOW TRUE! Joe Smith started the day early , having set his alarm clock (MADE IN JAPAN) for 6 a.m. While his coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA) was perking, he shaved with his electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG). He put on a dress shirt (MADE IN SRI LANKA), designer jeans (MADE IN SINGAPORE) and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA).
After cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA) he sat down with his calculator (MADE IN MEXICO) to see how much he could spend today. After setting his watch (MADE IN TAIWAN) to the radio (MADE IN INDIA) he got in his car (MADE IN GERMANY) and continued his search for a good paying AMERICAN JOB.
At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day, Joe decided to relax for a while. He put on his sandals (MADE IN BRAZIL), poured himself a glass of wine (MADE IN FRANCE) and turned on his TV (MADE IN INDONESIA) and then wondered why he couldn't find a good paying job in.AMERICA.!
To those who are ill, we wish a speedy recovery. To those who have lost a loved one, we send our Sympathy. Ruth Conrad, President
