Welcome
I will start off by saying "thank you" for selecting me as your Veteran of the Year.  I will try to live up to the standards set by the previous winners.  Thanks, again!

The year 2001 has not been a great year for the United States in the number of people killed by the terrorists.  Yet in another way, it brought us all together as it should have.  Let's keep flying our flag at home and where we work because it's easy to say "Hey, it's all over now;  let's go back to our old ways again."    Patriotism is an every day affair, so let's not forget those killed in New York and Washington.  Be vigilant, take notice of what is going on around you,  report suspicious goings on to the proper authorities.  You just might save a lot of lives, including your own.

But don't feel that everything is bad, and getting worse in the country;  it's still the greatest country in the world.  And as long as we all work together we will survive and prosper.

Please pray for our troops everywhere that no harm will come their way, and that they will all come home safe and sound.

And as your Commander, I want to wish all of you a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  May God grant us peace in the new year.   John Polgar,  Commander

BIB DAY was the 14th of November.  Again they made a record number of bibs.  Nelta needs to retire; she cannot do this for $10 any more. For this money she picks up the towels in Sandusky, takes 300 or more towels to her home, unloads them, reloads them in her car, takes them to the North Eaton Church, unloads them, cuts them, calls people to help, sews the bibs, iron the bindings, checks the sewing, trims the treads, folds, counts, packs, reloads them and takes them to OVH,  {where they use over 600 a day) picks up towels and schedules the next day to sew and begins again. She also cooks lunch, which is paid for by the post. We are so indebted to Nelta, and her crew.  We need these bibs, and need someone to take over, for $10. Please call me. The Post offered to take the bibs up to the home, and pick up the new towels, is someone out there willing to do the rest of the loading and unloading FOR $10??
