Free Life member dinner Oct 29, 2006 for Post & Auxiliary life members, sign up sheet is in the canteen must be signed up by October 23, 2006
It was passed on the floor at Sept. 18th meeting to have one meeting a month which will be the 3rd Monday each month. Officers will meet 7pm 1st &
3rd Monday each month like always.
October 16th meeting we will elect a new Jr. Vice Commander.
I had some really good ideas from our suggestion box, but please sign it so I can Thank You.
October 8th - is our Clam Bake 4pm - 9pm serving at 5pm, Band is Denny Michaels.
October 9th - is our 83rd Anniversary of Post 1079 come join us from 5pm - 8pm for snacks and cake.
October 16th - will be candidates night 5:30pm - 7pm, Post and Auxiliary is welcomed to ask politicians questions.
October 21st - Lorain County Council Pig Roast at Post 1079 2pm - 6pm.
October 21st - Halloween Costume Party & Karaoke 8pm - midnight - 1st $100, 2nd $75, 3rd $50, and other prizes.
October 29th - Free Life members Dinner your choice of spaghetti or roast beef serving 5pm - 7pm, Beverages $. 50
Band will be Denny Michaels from 6pm to 10pm, Deadline to sign-up is October 23, 2006

Mens Auxiliary
Ladies,
October 3 the Ladies Auxiliary will start two meeting a month. The first meeting will start 12 noon with a luncheon followed by 12:30 meeting on the first Tuesday of the month.
Make a Difference Day is October 28, please make a donation to the food table in the canteen. THANK YOU
Starting in November the National Home campbell soup labels will only need the bar code.
November 8, 2006 will be our annual Chinese Auction, Please consider a donation that you can make for example, craft items, baked goods, needle point, quilting, flower arrangement, center piece or just buy something new. Prior to auction you can look at the items you would like to bid on then at 7pm the auction will begin. Ruth
