Childrens Christmas Party;
Sign up Nov. 1st thru 16th - sign up cards will be at the Post for children 10 years old and under. The Childrens Christmas party will be December 16th @ 1pm, be sure to fill the cards out clearly with phone number and please bring your camera. Children must be present to receive gift. Also their will be a sign-up sheet for volunteers to help with the party. Charlie Wirth Chairman

Come and celebrate with us with a slice of cake at 6pm.
Sunday November 11th - Veterans Day morning program
will be at 11am at Post 1079 please join us to honor our Veterans, soup will be served after the program.
The evening Veterans Day program
will start at 6pm, dinner and the Veterans of the Year award will be presented.
Friday night dinners are doing very well our menu is on the top of the calendar.
Please open your hearts and do whatever you can for our food drive. We are going to obtain names of needy Veterans and families in our local area to deliver your donated food, so please help our unfortunate over the holiday season. This food is delivered to needy Veterans families locally. If you would like to make a monetary donation for food please make checks out to VFW 1079 - memo food drive. Thank you for all the help you can give during the holiday season. Last year we delivered food and gifts for the kids to twelve veterans families here in Elyria.
Don't forget to pay your dues by December 31, 2007.
This year the
New Years Eve Tickets
will go on sale December 1st. Tickets will be $35 single or $60 per couple. Catered Dinner by "Tina" which will include Prime Rib, Shrimp, potato, salad, roll and butter, with kielbasa & sauerkraut at midnight. Entertainment by " Ralph Szubski Band.
